Two people have been injured, after gunmen opened fire on a convoy of Turkish buses in Syria. The attack happened as the group returned home from the holy Muslim pilgrimage of Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. A Turkish driver and pilgrim were reportedly wounded. “A group of people with large guns stopped the bus. They beat us up. They took all our money,” one passenger said. “I had to give around 1700 euros and 250 dollars,” he continued. The attack is said to have happened near the flashpoint Syrian city of Homs.
