Video: Star player of Syrian football team leads pro-revolution chants

Abdul Basit Sarout, a star player of the Syrian football team, leads the chants of a protest via satellite phone from a home in Daraa. He was banned from his football team after he vocally supported the Syrian revolution and denounced the Assad regime in Homs. Since then, his family members have been killed, his home was destroyed, his career is gone, and he is on the run from regime thugs. He is considered a hero in the eyes of Syrian freedom fighters.
