Syrians in Latamneh collect bread for victims of yesterday’s massacre in Traimsah, a nearby village. Activists say up to 250 Syrians were killed yesterday in Traimsah after the village was attacked with helicopters and tanks, and later by Shabihah gangs, who are said to have carried out close-range killings with knives.
Three months ago on April 7, 2012, regime forces surrounded and stormed Latamneh, carrying out a massacre similar to the one in Traimsah. At least 70 Syrians were killed in the attack.
