Every day shelling and air attacks in Syria are causing suffering for civilians, from displacement to bereavement.
Four-year-old Maram has been left paralysed from the waist down. her father has been arrested, and her grandfather and uncle have been killed. Al Jazeera has been following the trauma suffered by one family from Idlib province.
She is now in hospital on the Turkish-Syrian border, from where Andrew Simmons filed this exclusive report after visiting Maram’s family home in Idlib.
